2004: Did not play, used redshirt year to concentrate on swimming.
2003: Improved over the course of the season as a 2003 sophomore, finishing with 35 goals (third on the team) ... Also had 16 assists and 14 steals ... Played in all 27 games ... Scored goals in each of the final 11 games of the season ... Had 28 goals in that span ... Scored a season-high 5 goals against George Washington ... Had 4 goals and 4 assists against Cal Poly SLO.
SWIMMING: Earned a pair of All-American honors at the 2005 NAIA Championships ... Placed second in 200 breast and third in 100 breast ... Was a member of the second-place 200 medley and the NAIA-winning 400 medley relay squads ... Earned 3 All-American honors at the 2004 NAIA Championships ... Placed second in the 100 breast and 200 breast ... Was a member of the NAIA-winning 200 medley relay team.
PALOMAR CC: Spent the 2002-03 school year at Palomar College in San Marcos, Calif. ... Earned all-conference honors in water polo ... Achieved All-American status in swimming and was runner-up at state meet in 100 breast ... Set a conference record in the 100 breast (57.95).
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Valley Center (Calif.) High in 2002 ... Played 3 years of varsity water polo and swam for 4 years... 2-time Valley League Player of the Year in both sports ... Named Valley Center’s Athlete of the Year as a senior ... Scored almost 400 goals in his career ... Won CIF title in 100 breast as a senior.
