• Wrestled for a team that won the school’s first conference title

• Prepped three varsity seasons at Lemoore (Calif.) High where he graduated in 2007
• Reached the division tournament as a sophomore and junior, recording three pins over two years
• Started his senior year with two pins before going down with a season-ending injury
• Wrestled for a team that went 51-0 in three years
• Played football and threw the shot and discus at LHS
