Millard, who is hitting a team-high .491, is currently the GSAC leader in slugging percentage (.925), RBI (51) and total bases (98), and is second to teammate Sara Goforth (who hits ahead of her in the lineup) with 50 runs.
Last week, Millard went 5-for-7 with 4 doubles and a homer as the NAIA's No. 1-ranked California Baptist swept No. 23 Concordia 9-1, 5-0 Tuesday (March 27). She doubled and homered in game one, as she drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 times, and then ripped a trio of doubles and scored 3 times in the nightcap.
In CBU's sweep of No. 5 Point Loma Nazarene Saturday (March 31) afternoon, Millard scored a run in the first game, a 5-0 win, before launching a solo shot in the second game, a 4-0 victory.
It was the second weekly award in a row for Millard, and the third in her career. California Baptist has won a total of 4 weekly awards so far this season, with Casandrah Carreon joining Millard in earning Player of the Week accolades and Amy Thomas earning GSAC Pitcher of the Week last Monday.
The Lancers are currently 35-1, including 10-0 in GSAC, and have won 30 games in a row.
