DOUBLE TAKE
4/17/2010 12:00:00 AM | Women's Water Polo
In the first game, the Lancers faced off against the Cougars. The story of game one was CBU's well-balanced attack. Nine different players scored on the offense front, while goalie Camryn Rogers recorded 11 saves in the net.
Senior Chelsea Gentry tallied three goals in the game, while Jennifer Grutz, Petra Kovacs and Collette Brown each added a pair of scores.
Then, in a game that was almost an exact replica of the first, the Lancers scored another 14 goals, Gentry recorded another hat trick and Rogers grabbed another 11 saves.
Also in the second win of the day, both Brown and Brittany Bateman each recorded a trio of scores for the Lancers.
CBU will close out its season on Saturday with a final pair of games in the NAIA Spring Invitational in Fresno, Calif. The Lancers will play UC Santa Cruz at 12:30 p.m., and then Concordia at 3 p.m.
