CONCORDIA BOX SCORE
RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A dominant day from Katie Fugit led California Baptist University to split a pair of games at the Lancer Joust. Fugit scored eight goals on the day, including six in a 15-10 win over Concordia.
The Lancers move to 12-10 on the season after a 9-6 loss to 19th-ranked San Jose State in Saturday's opener. The Spartans improve to 6-5 and the Eagles fall to 8-4 on the year.
Fugit's six goals, two steals and an assist against Concordia were one off the Lancers' single-game record, with three different Lancers scoring seven goals on five different occasions. She becomes just the seventh Lancer to ever score six or more goals in a game and the second to do it this season after Lizette Perez scored six at Harvard on March 2.
