Perez, a senior, tied the program's single-game record for steals in a game with six, while scoring three times and logging two assists in the second-to-last home of her career. The driver now has hat tricks in the last three games and is just the fifth Lancer to tally six steals in a game and the first to do so since 2017.
The Lancers forced a total of 11 turnovers, which proved influential to a 4-0 third-quarter run that helped them put the game away early against an Eagles team enjoying a career year.
It was far from a one-woman show for CBU on Thursday, though. The entire team played tremendous defense and all 10 of the Lancers' goals came on assists.
True freshman Jamie Hutton notched two goals and a season-high three assists. Katie Fugit wound up with three assists, three steals and a goal. Madison Gonzales tallied two goals and an assist, while Kira O'Donell added a goal, assist, steal and drawn ejection as well.
CBU improves to 14-14 and 2-3 in the GCC, while Concordia drops to 10-8, 0-3. The Eagles have a number of highlight performances this season, including one-goal losses to No. 14 Princeton (8-7) and No. 24 Azusa Pacific (12-11).
The Lancers host 13th-ranked Loyola Marymount for their Senior Day on Saturday at noon at the Lancer Aquatics Center in another game that's crucial for seeding for the conference tournament.
Concordia actually led for most of the first half. Gonzales scored CBU's first two goals to make it a 2-2 game with 2:32 left in the first half.

Perez got on the board with a minute left in the second quarter to give the Lancers their first lead, 3-2.
The Eagles scored first in the third quarter to tie things again, 3-3, but the Lancers then rattled off the next four goals thanks in large part to their defense to take a 7-3 lead with 1:31 remaining.
O'Donell netted her first goal on a six-on-five powerplay on a great cross-pool pass from Hutton to spark the run.
