A five-run first inning was the difference in a 6-2 Rainbow Warriors' victory at Totman Stadium, though. True freshman Chad Castillo matched his career-high three hits for the seventh time this season, while Luke Navigato and John Glenn both went 2-for-4 with a run batted in.

Hawai'i improves to 19-22 on the season, while CBU moves to 26-18. The Lancers resume Western Athletic Conference play this weekend, as Utah Valley visits Riverside. The series opener is scheduled for a 6 p.m. first pitch on Friday, with game two starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday and the finale taking place at noon on Sunday.
CBU's bullpen held the Warriors to just one run over the final 8.1 innings on Tuesday. Matt Amrhein, Matt Mogollon, Angel Delgado, Mason McGarvey and Jared Billen each did not allow more than one base runner in their outing, as eight Lancers pitchers took the mound.

Five free passes and three runs led to five Hawai'i runs in the top of the first inning. The Lancers got on the board on an 0-2, two-out RBI single from Glenn. Castillo and Navigato each singled aboard with one out in the inning.
0⃣➖2⃣ count? No problem for John Glenn.

The Lancers scored their second and final run in the bottom of the eighth. Nick Plaia drew a leadoff, full-count walk and took second on a wild pitch before Navigato laced a triple over the center fielder's head to cap the scoring.
