The Lancers put together one of the best-ever debut seasons in Division I, as their 35 wins in 2019 ranked third among first-year, D-I programs who made the move since 1998. CBU went 35-20 overall and won a share of the Western Athletic Conference championship with a 19-8 league record.
In the hunt for its 11th-straight season with 30-plus wins, the Lancers' 2020 campaign came to a close with a 7-8 record after the season came to an early end. It came to a close just as CBU was heating up, as it went 6-4 over its final 10 games.
