It's the Lancers' second walk-off victory of the season and ended what was a tightly-contested game that featured three ties. CBU improves to 12-4 on the year, while the Bulldogs drop to 6-5 as their four-game winning streak comes to an end.

CBU's rally in the bottom of the ninth didn't start until Yale retired the first two batters of the inning. Pinch hitter Trevor Cadd ended an eight-pitch at-bat as he knocked through his first hit as a Lancer on a full-count single into the outfield to spark the rally.
Harrison Spohn then singled to put runners at the corners. David Martin fell down 0-2 in the count next, as he fouled off the first five pitches he saw, but was hit by a pitch on the eighth pitch he saw to load the bases.
Two pitches later, Castillo went the other way and drove a pitch over the third baseman and into left field to score the winning run.

Castillo (two runs batted in) and Spohn (three runs) both finished with three-hit games. Martin (two runs, RBI) and Russell Stevenson (RBI) each had two-hit games.
Five Lancers extended hitting streaks to more than five games on Friday. Jake Skipworth now has a hit in all 16 games this year, while Stevenson has 10-straight games with a hit. Spohn has seven in a row and Martin and Castillo have six-game hitting streaks.
Skipworth's 16 games are tied for the third-longest hitting streak in CBU's NCAA era (beginning in 2014). It's one game off tying for a top-10 streak in the modern era, which began in 2002.
Jared Villalobos earned his third victory of the season in relief, as he threw four scoreless innings to end the game. He allowed just one base runner on one hit, no walks and struck out four. The bullpen was key, as CBU went there in the fourth inning. Spencer Bengard threw two innings in relief and allowed one earned run and struck out two.
