RIVERSIDE – Maddie Schwegler scored a season and career-high four goals to lead California Baptist University women's water polo's comeback bid against Loyola Marymount.

The Lancers ended the game on a 7-5 run but fell to the 18^th-ranked Lions on Thursday night at the Lancer Aquatics Center. Schwegler scored all four of her goals over the final 13 minutes of regulation and also drew two ejections.

CBU moves to 12-14 on the year and 0-5 in Golden Coast Conference play, while LMU improved to 13-10, 4-1.

Kyndall Burrell and Dora Lehoczky each had three points. Burrell had two assists, a goal and drawn ejection while Lehoczky had three assists, a drawn ejection and a steal. Jamie Hutton also had three steals and an assist, while Taylor Frandsen won all four sprints for CBU.

Kira O'Donell also had two goals, five drawn ejections and a steal. She now has scored in 24-straight games this year and has 15 multi-goal games.
