CBU Baseball Alumni Game Set for Saturday, Feb. 4

RIVERSIDE – California Baptist University will host its annual Alumni Day game less than two weeks before the 2023 season officially begins in Norman, Oklahoma.
It's always a great day of reuniting with friends and teammates.
The Alumni game will start Saturday, February 4th at 10:30 a.m. with batting practice. At noon, the alumni game will begin with seven exciting innings of CBU baseball where past meets present, with bragging rights on the line.
A golf outing will kick the weekend off on Friday, Feb. 3 at 11:00 a.m.
CBU opens the 2023 season on the road against the College World Series finalist, the University of Oklahoma Sooners, on February 17-19. The Lancers make their home opener against the Nevada Wolfpack on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m., with the weekend ending against the High Point Panthers on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m.
The Lancers are entering their first season as full members of NCAA Division I, making them postseason eligible first the first time since the 2018 season. The Lancers are already two-time Western Athletic Conference Champions after they won a share of the league title in 2019 and 2021.
