21 Lancers Named to ACWPC All-Academic List

RIVERSIDE--- The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches released its annual All-Academic list for 2023, with California Baptist University earning 21 of its athletes on the list.
The All-Academic list is divided into three sections: Outstanding, Superior, and Excellent. The Outstanding category indicates that a student-athlete earned a GPA between 3.71-4.0, Superior 3.41-3.70, and Excellent 3.20-3.40. The Lancers landed 11 athletes on the Outstanding list, six on the Superior, and four on the Excellent. CBU had the third most athletes qualify for the Outstanding list, trailing only Stanford and Cal State Northridge.
Jamie Hutton, Abby Mammen, and Taylor Frandsen were the returners to the Outstanding list, with Frandsen and Hutton making it for the fourth time in their careers.
As a team, the Lancer's GPA was a stellar 3.47, earning them 19th among the qualifying teams.
