RIVERSIDE – California Baptist women's soccer opens the 2026 season on Wednesday, traveling to Berkeley to take on California at Edwards Stadium.
Led by graduate standouts Mikayla O'Brien and Taylor Held, along with seniors Anja Jestrovic and Jess Ramirez, the Lancers look to open the season with a road win against a Power Four opponent.
"I'm excited to see our response against a good team," said head coach Kristen St. Clair. "I'm looking forward to seeing how we play on the road and where we are from a tactical, health and chemistry perspective. The players are excited to compete against someone other than themselves, and they're looking forward to this matchup. This game will be a good barometer for where we are, where we want to go and what we need to work on moving forward."
