Bio
Grant King has battled his way through injury since transferring in as a sophomore. He put together solid appearances on the mound, and maintained a perfect ERA and .125 opposing batting average this year.

Made two appearances in the shortened season... Did not allow an earned run and just one hit for a .125 opposing batting average... Struck out three batters over 1.2 innings... Threw a perfect inning against Houston Baptist on Feb. 28.

Did not make an appearance in his first season at CBU.

Redshirted his freshman season at Pepperdine in 2017
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped two varsity seasons at Canyon High in Anaheim Hills, Calif., where he graduated in 2016... Logged 103 innings, 88 strikeouts and a 2.00 ERA in his career... Named Canyon Pitcher of the Year, Under Armour Pre-Season All-American and was selected to play in the OC All-Star Game as a senior.

Son of Douglas and Mischa King... Has one sibling, Garett, who played baseball at CBU before being drafted by the Detroit Tigers... Business administration major... Enjoys playing baseball, video games and football... Hopes to play professional baseball or work in business after graduation.
