Appeared in 28 games and made eight starts as a true freshman... Hit .344, slugged .469 and maintained a .447 OBP... Four of his 11 hits went for doubles... Scored 11 times, drew six walks, drove in four RBI and stole two of three bases in just 32 at-bats... Qualified for WAC All-Academic Team.

Prepped at Del Norte High School in San Diego, where he graduated in 2020... Played four varsity seasons and served as a team captain the last two years... Led the entire state of California in walks and was No. 1 in stolen bases in the Palomar League as a sophomore... Member of sixth-ranked 17U team in the country, the San Diego Show.
