Lancers End Week One of 2019

COLLEGE STATION, Texas. – California Baptist University finished opening weekend with a rematch against Texas A&M on Sunday.
The final day of the Aggie Classic saw the Lancers fall to the No. 20 team in the country, 15-0, in a five-inning contest.
True freshman Sydney Truett pitched 1.1 scoreless innings for the Lancers after entering in the third inning. Brittany Galvez garnered the most offensive production for the Lancers on Sunday, doubling to right-center to lead off the game.
CBU returns to action for the home opener against Fresno State on Monday February 18th at John C. Funk Stadium.
Texas A&M proved too much for the Lancers on Sunday, posting a nine spot on CBU in the first inning and allowing only five runners on the base paths at Davis Diamond.
