GAME ONE
Seattle U jumped out to a 4-0 lead in Friday's series opener, with two runs in the first and fourth innings. CBU got on the board on a two-run homer from Jake Skipworth in the fifth, but the Redhawks took a 7-2 lead into the ninth after a three-run seventh.

The Lancers made things interesting when they loaded the bases with one out in the top of the ninth after walks to Michael Carpentier, Harrison Spohn and a single from David Martin. Castillo drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, but SU ended the threat to secure the win.
CBU got two-hit games from Spohn, Castillo and Carpentier in the game. Spencer Bengard struck out a career-high 10 batters in his six-inning start on the mound but Seattle U scored four runs off him on eight hits and a walk. The Lancers got scoreless innings of relief from Carson Olsen and Jacob Wilson.
GAME TWO
California Baptist got a huge pitching performance from its closer Liam Rocha to close out Friday. He pitched the final 5.2 innings in relief and gave up two runs on four hits, two walks and struck out a career-high nine batters. Both runs Rocha gave up came on a homer in the bottom of the ninth of the Lancers' 6-5 win.

CBU scored first in the game with a run in the top of the first, but created some separation with two-run innings in the third and fourth. Stevenson hit a two-run bomb in the third and a lead-off triple from Spohn and RBI hits from Castillo (double) and Stevenson (single) gave the Lancers a 5-3 lead in the fourth.
