The Redhawks came out strong offensively, securing two home runs and two doubles that helped them earn the conference win. The Lancers did well hitting off the Seattle pitching staff and had three players with two or more hits against SU. Josh Paino came away with four hits and earned three RBI to end the day.
Jacob Wilson and Spencer Bengard also combined for nine strikeouts during their innings on the mound for CBU. Bengard only allowed one hit during his three innings after facing nine Redhawk batters. Dustin Garcia improves to a five-game hitting streak and Julian Alvarez earns his ninth multi-hit game.
California Baptist sticks around at home to face Riverside foe UCR on Monday evening at 6 pm in Totman Stadium.
