SB Preview: Lancers Travel to NorCal for Season Openers

RIVERSIDE – Softball season has finally arrived as the Lancers prepare for their first pair of doubleheaders at the NorCal Kickoff Tournament. Things get started Thursday morning as the Lancers visit UC Davis for an 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. doubleheader against the Aggies. Friday will pit CBU against Sacramento State in Sacramento at the same game times.
These were two of the first three teams that CBU faced to begin the 2020 season as well, with UC Davis edging out a 9-8 win in extra innings while Sac State took its game 6-0. Senior Brittany Galvez went 3-for-7 in those games. CBU won its first game of the 2020 season at this same tournament in game two against St. Mary's, 9-7.
