2005: Played in 32 games, starting 18, as a 2005 junior ... Hit .245 (13-for-53) ... Belted 3 home runs ... Had 3 hits, scored 3 times, and drove in a pair of runs against Mayville State (N.D.) ... Hit home runs in each end of a double-header against Cal State San Bernardino ... Hit a 2-run shot against Hope International.
RIVERSIDE CC: Played two seasons at nearby Riverside Community College ... Was named All-Orange Empire Conference first team as a sophomore, after hitting .336 with 16 doubles, 22 RBI, 28 walks and 14 runs in 107 at-bats ... Hit .231 with 7 doubles, 4 triples, and 20 walks in 104 at-bats in 2002-03.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped 2 seasons of varsity softball at Ramona High in Riverside, Calif., graduating in 2002 ... As a 2002 senior, was named to All-Sunkist League second team ... Earned Coaches’ Award as a sophomore and junior ... Made honor roll all 4 years, and was a 4-time Scholar-Athlete.
OTHER: Born Aug. 21, 1984, in Pasadena, Calif., to Daniel and Leah Chasey ... Has a twin sister, Carla, who also played at RCC in 2003 and 2004 and now pitches at Cal State San Bernardino ...
