- She is the 20th McDaniel to attend CBU. Her great grandpa Arlie McDaniel was on the board of trustees. Her grandma Terri McDaniel was on the first female volleyball team at CBU when they were originally CBC. Her Aunt Rachel and Uncle Jordan both attended CBU and met their spouses at CBU
- Her Aunt Rachel played basketball at CBU, Uncle Chase was a national champion runner at CBU, Uncle Josh played golf at Grand Canyon, Great Uncles Darin, Arlie and Ed played basketball at CBU, Her Grandpa Adrian played soccer at CBU, and grandmother Terri played volleyball at CBU.
